Changes to Your Bill
On January 28, 2010, North Shore Gas increased the amount we charge to deliver natural gas to your home or business. The increase was approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission, and will be reflected on upcoming bills.
The actual cost of natural gas – which makes up about 65 percent of the typical residential customer's bill – will not be affected. The rate change applies only to charges related to the delivery of natural gas.
For more information about the changes affecting your bills, we encourage you to review the sections listed below. And as always, North Shore Gas will continue to offer special payment plans for customers who need more time to pay their bills. For customers who need energy assistance, there's more help than ever through federal and local programs.
