Moving?

Once you know when you are moving, make sure to call us to start or stop your natural gas service. If you are moving into the Peoples Gas or North Shore Gas service area, and you need natural gas service, call us at least 10 business days before your move-in date, so you can have a better chance of getting your date of choice. Flex connector safety

Safety is our No. 1 priority. The pipe that connects your natural gas stove to your supply line is called a flexible connector. In the past, brass connectors were used, and over time, they became brittle and stopped being sold and installed. If you have an older stove, learn what a proper connector looks like and what steps you need to take to check and to replace it if you have one.
