Residential Prescriptive Rebate Program
Owners of single-family homes and smaller multi-family buildings can get rebates when they install certain types of high-efficiency furnaces, boilers and boiler reset controls — and now air conditioners.
The current program runs through May 31, 2012 and offers up to:
- $650 on complete system replacement (furnace and central air conditioner)
- $450 for boilers
- $250 for furnaces
- $100 on boiler reset controls
Through a partnership with ComEd, residential customers of both utilities are eligible for up to $650 in rebates when they install a qualifying furnace and central air conditioning system at the same time. Installing both systems together will lower your long-term installation costs and help you manage your energy use all year.
New equipment must be installed and old equipment removed. Only new products that meet the energy-efficiency specifications listed on the residential application form qualify. Complete terms and conditions can be found on the Residential Prescriptive Rebate Program application form.
