Chicagoland Rebates
The Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program offers rebates to encourage customers to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes, apartment buildings and businesses.
Energy Efficiency Rebates
Homeowners (Service Classification No. 1) are eligible for rebates on energy-efficient gas furnaces and boilers purchased between now and May 31, 2011.
To qualify, the equipment must be installed by a professional contractor.
The rebate amounts are $350 for boilers and $200 for furnaces.

The Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program is funded by customers of North Shore Gas, through a line item on the bill called the Enhanced Efficiency Program. The Program is guided by North Shore Gas, the Citizen's Utility Board, the City of Chicago Department of Environment, the Environmental Law and Policy Center, and the Illinois Attorney General's Office.
